You're sure to stumble upon some smiling people from Keene here, and if you came for an overnight stay Lamb City Campground & Variety is a pleasant location to camp. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Phillipston Reservoir has it all. Buckman Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and the Red       Cross Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. A pretty lake like Reservoir Number One in close proximity to Phillipston Reservoir is a pleasant location to go to. After a long day outdoors Colonial Hotel is a great spot to spend a night or two; there are some great whitewater spots on Millers River. Phillipston Reservoir is near Phillipston Reservoir Dam which is a beautiful place certainly worth                  a visit, and Reservoir Number Two is a nice lake nearby. Enjoy a round of golf at Ellinwood Country Club Banquet Hall not far from Phillipston Reservoir, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the White Arrow Trail. At Phillipston Reservoir during the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Phillipston Reservoir drop into the 0's. From a rainfall point of view Phillipston Reservoir is a relatively normal location; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Phillipston Reservoir you can distinguish Baldwin Hill, and a good close by hotel is Super 8 Gardner. This lake is so wonderful.
