If the weather is wonderful, you acquire a wonderful vista of The Pinnacle from Perkins Pond, and Laurel Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. High temperatures at Perkins Pond during the summer months are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. absorb the natural beauty of this area. Perkins Pond is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Camp Half Moon is a perfect place to camp nearby, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Konkapot Brook. Any time
is a delightful time at Perkins Pond if you love the outdoors. You'll meet a lot of people from Pittsfield here, and there's whitewater on Farmington River - West Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. While you're here at Perkins
Pond you can take a hike along the Taconic Skyline Trail, and why not pop by Laurel Lake Dam while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A quick visit to Beartown Brook right next door to Perkins Pond is a delightful idea, and
skiing at Bousquet is one of those things you just must do. Perkins Pond is a wet site that gets a great deal of precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
