Perch Pond is a lake worth visiting. You get a great vista of Cannon Hill from Perch Pond; camping at Paine's Campground is always a great experience. A day at Newcomb Hollow Beach in the vicinity of Perch Pond is time well spent; Captains Quarters Motel is a pleasant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Spectacle Pond is a pleasant lake near Perch Pond, and nearby you stumble on the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.

site; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. All the outdoors exciting things near Perch Pond will keep you coming back persistently. Bound Brook is a nice local stream, and going for a hike on
the Great Island Trail is always a nice adventure.
