Lake Pentucket is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Powow Cove Campground is a nice local campground, and there's whitewater on Concord River for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous nearby hotel is Best Western Merrimack Valley; the summit of Ayers       Hill can be spotted from Lake Pentucket. An afternoon playing golf at Bradford Country Club is always a diversion, and you'll possibly meet some people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here. This lake is so wonderful. Bradford is a splendid local ski area, and if you get bored of Lake Pentucket you could also visit nearby Lake Saltonstall. Through the warm months here at Lake Pentucket, high temperatures generally get into the 80's, and the night is rather                  chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Pentucket plunge into the 10's. Take a side trip to Little River, and needless to say, all our national parks are magnificent spots to check out and Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is no exception. Lake Pentucket sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area next to Lake Pentucket has to offer.
