There's so much to do here at Peg Millpond that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Dean Campground is a delightful site for that. Summertime highs at Peg Millpond mostly tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Peg Millpond dipping down into the 0's through       winter nights. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Pine Ridge, and not far from Peg Millpond you'll find Dean Pond which is a gorgeous lake. Peg Millpond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quaboag River, and this is a popular spot for people from Worcester.                  Playing golf is lots of fun at Quail Hollow Golf & Country Club, and Peg Millpond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Acres Family Camping Resort is a nice local campground. Millers River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and Prospect Hill can be spotted from Peg Millpond. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really abundant here at Peg Millpond. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Gardner is a wonderful choice, and why not take a little tour to Maynard Brook if you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
