| | Berkshire Inn is a wonderful choice. If you're here at Pecks Pond, you could stop at Churchill Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Very good water scenery is available at Lower Pecks Pond Dam close to Pecks Pond, and if you're here why not check out Pontoosuc School. Konkapot Brook, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Onota Lake is just a very short distance away. There's so much to do here at Pecks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Valley Campgrounds
is a wonderful place for that; while you're here you can take a hike along the Taconic Skyline Trail. Just can't get enough of Pecks Pond. Have a great hiking adventure along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and beautiful scenery and
great skiing is what you obtain at Bousquet. Pecks Pond gets much water; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is ordinarily the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in
the 70's to Pecks Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Pecks Pond plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
A round of golf at nearby Pontoosuc Lake Country Club is a great way to kill some time, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, West Branch Housatonic River Reservoir is one of those close by.
