Don't leave Pecks Pond without first going for a hike along the Taconic Skyline Trail, and as expected, this is a good region for people who like lakes, West Branch Housatonic River Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Pecks Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Pecks Pond. This lake is so wonderful.

| | You're probably hooked on lakes, Onota Lake is one of those close by. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pecks Pond has to offer, you can camp at Hidden Valley Campgrounds. After a long day outdoors The Yankee Suites Extended Stay is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Pecks Pond is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites is a nice site to camp nearby. June is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. So many amusing things in the vicinity of Pecks Pond, just extraordinary. Dry warm beds await you at Berkshire Inn, and skiing at Catamount is one of
those things you just ought to do. Churchill Brook is near Pecks Pond and is always a delight to check out, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Pittsfield here. A round of golf at nearby Pontoosuc Lake Country Club is a nice way
to kill some time, and why not check out Rice School also since you're here. There are glorious locations to look at along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Konkapot Brook. Green River
is a magnificent whitewater spot close to Pecks Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Turner Trail is always a fine adventure, and do stop by Lower Pecks Pond Dam if you're here. Having a nice time at Pecks
Pond is easy. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Bousquet, and you could always explore Pontoosuc School.
