All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Peabody Reservoir sink into the 10's. Peabody Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month       is August. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do near Peabody Reservoir. One of the best things about Peabody Reservoir is its proximity to Lynn Beach. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a very perfect spot to go to next to Peabody Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Danvers. Bradford is a very popular ski area close at hand. Lakes? Sure, Sydneys Pond is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Peabody                  Reservoir is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Prospect Lake Park is a perfect spot to camp nearby, and the peak of Buxton Hill can be made out from Peabody Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Meadow Golf Course of Peabody is always a bliss, and Cohasset Tidal Rip is a great whitewater spot close by. Very brilliant water scenery is available at Sydneys Pond Dam right next door to Peabody Reservoir; people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy love to come here. Not far from Peabody Reservoir, you'll stumble on Mill Pond which is a wonderful lake, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Beaver Brook. Stay the night at Lorraine Park Campground, and after a long day outdoors Boston-Days Inn Salem is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location.
