Dunes of the Provincelands is simple to spot from Pasture Pond; the Dunes of the Provincelands is one of the things that make       Pasture Pond so wonderful. You'll discover a pretty lake called Clapps Pond near Pasture Pond, and going for a hike on the Small Swamp Trail is always a great adventure. Pasture Pond gets a large amount of water; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. There are great places to discover along the Great Island Trail; if you like swamps you're in luck, Long Point Marshes is right close by. This                  lake is so wonderful. Near Pasture Pond you find the Beach Forest Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; Pasture Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Dunes' Edge Camp Ground is a wonderful local campground. Through the summertime months highs here at Pasture Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Pasture Pond tend to be in the 20's. What a place this is for outdoors folks. After a long day outdoors The Oxford Guesthouse is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and Herring Cove is in the neighborhood and always good to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Race Point Beach if you're here at Pasture Pond. There's so much to do here at Pasture Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Coastal Acres Camping Court is a good spot for that. Pasture Pond really is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise.
