a bad day of skiing at nearby Pine Ridge, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Contoocook River.
This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Worcester come to Partridge Pond, and Pout and
Trout Family Campground is a great campground nearby. Swamps like Cedar Swamp close to Partridge Pond make for fine spots to stop at, and going for a hike along the Wapack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
Do have a look at Wyman Pond right next door to Partridge Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and there's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at Ellis Pond Dam close to Partridge Pond. Partridge Pond typically gets lots of rain; the month
of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Partridge Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures
sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Partridge Pond.
