This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Parker Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Spring Trail, and there are some
great whitewater spots on Connecticut River. Parker Reservoir sits in the shade of the Mount Holyoke Range; if you want to hit the beach, Sandy Beach is in the vicinity. Here at Parker Reservoir you'll perhaps meet some people from
Springfield, and if you came to camp White Birch Campgrounds is a good spot to do that.
During the summertime here at Parker Reservoir, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in
the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Parker Reservoir plunge into the 10's. There's always Parker Reservoir Dam to have a look at right next door
to Parker Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Parker Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Rainbow Motel is a magnificent spot for that.
