Take a side journey to Foster Brook, and Parker Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Howe's Camping is a great local campground. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Parker Pond. If you're here at Parker Pond and you like golf, you can go to Gardner Municipal Golf Course;       on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Harling Trail. This lake is so wonderful. One of the overriding features of the surroundings of Parker Pond is Beaman Hill, naturally you could also explore Beagle Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Be careful coming to Parker Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. There is a pleasant hiking trail close to Parker Pond called the White Dot Trail, and Parker Pond is not the only spot                  nearby, Kendall Pond is a nearby lake. Summer at Parker Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Parker Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Millers River in the vicinity of Parker Pond, and the slopes of Pine Ridge are so inviting noone can resist. Contoocook River is a wonderful whitewater spot in the vicinity of Parker Pond, and the Parker Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Super 8 Gardner is a great location to get some rest, and Parker Pond Dam is a location that is in the vicinity of Parker Pond. The high level of rainfall makes Parker Pond a reasonably wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Wachusett Mountain is a magnificent local ski area.
