Go to Packard Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the White Arrow Trail, and a nice close by hotel is Travel Inn. People from Keene love to come to Packard Pond, and Packard Pond Dam is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Shir-roy Camping Area, and if you need a site to stay Executive Inn is a tremendous choice.

Take some time to visit Orange State Forest if you're here; don't leave Packard Pond without first going for a hike along the Farmers Trail. If you don’t have a problem
getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ashuelot River - South Branch, and going for a hike on the Marlboro Trail is always a nice adventure.
