If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out The Oxbow. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for The Oxbow. Here at The Oxbow there are plenty of folks from Springfield, and Paradise Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Connecticut River, and going for a hike on the Richard Trail is always a magnificent adventure. The Mount Tom Range

The Oxbow mostly gets much rainfall; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. choice. There is a great hiking trail near The Oxbow called the Link Trail, and Blandford has great slopes and a friendly staff.
Summer at The Oxbow arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; the overnight is somewhat cooler
of course, regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to The Oxbow. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at The Oxbow, too magnificent to be true. There's whitewater
on Deerfield River for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Sandy Beach.
This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Brickyard Brook is a stream you can have a
look at during your stay, and Berkshire East is a very popular ski area nearby. A nice close by hotel is Quality Inn Northampton, and while you're here, you could also explore charming Mill River Diversion Reservoir. This lake is
so wonderful. The Spring Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close to The Oxbow; Neds Ditch is an out of the ordinary swamp near The Oxbow.
Hockanum Meadows is a splendid spot here at The Oxbow; The Oxbow is perfect enough to spend
more than a day at, Windy Acres Campground is a perfect local campground. A perfect location to camp here at The Oxbow is Rainbow Motel, and Deadtop is clearly visible from The Oxbow.
