Many people like to go to Otter Pond. Very beautiful scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Blandford; Farmington River - West Branch is a delightful whitewater spot close by. The high level of rain makes Otter Pond a quite wet place; August is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest. Visit Babcock Brook since you're here at Otter Pond; do take some time to have a look at Granville State Forest while you're here.

If you need a location to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a great choice; not far from Otter Pond you'll locate Cranberry Pond which is a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful.
