Do stop by Onota Lake while you're in this part of Massachusetts. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Onota Lake has it all. | | close. If you came for an overnight stay Hidden Valley Campgrounds is a tremendous site to camp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Konkapot Brook. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Onota Lake Dam, and you can go for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain Trail. of Bousquet is just what you need, and playing golf is lots of fun at Pontoosuc Lake Country Club. High temperatures at Onota Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime
highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Onota Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Onota Lake ordinarily gets a great deal of rain; all through the month of June you get the most rain
around here while February is usually the driest month. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There are great spots to explore along the Turner Trail, and there are other places here than Onota Lake, for example
Pecks Pond. Don't leave Onota Lake without first going for a hike along the Taconic Skyline Trail, and if you need a site to stay The Yankee Suites Extended Stay is a delightful choice.
