    If you are in Berkshire county it's always a good idea to stop by Onota Lake. High temperatures at Onota Lake throughout the summer months are in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows at Onota Lake during the wintertime frequently fall into the 10's. Take a little tour to Churchill Brook if you're here at Onota Lake, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Turner  
   Trail. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Onota Lake. If you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Pontoosuc Lake Country Club; dry warm beds await you at Berkshire Inn.
Going for a hike along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and close by you find Thomas Island. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Onota Lake. Camping at Hidden Valley
 
               Campgrounds is always a perfect experience, and a great location is Pontoosuc School. Drift down the rapids of Konkapot Brook in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Pontoosuc Lake since you're here at Onota Lake; it's close by, and if you came to camp Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites is a fine site to do that. A lot of rain falls at Onota Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Catamount; there are plenty of people from Pittsfield here.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Green River is so much fun, and a lake nearby is West Branch Housatonic River Reservoir. While you're here at Onota Lake you can take a hike along the Taconic Skyline Trail, and Onota Lake Dam is a picturesque site, beyond doubt worth a visit. Bousquet has great slopes and a friendly staff, and if you need a site to stay The Yankee Suites Extended Stay is a tremendous choice.
