Dicks Brook is a tremendous site to go to, and camping is available at Peaceful Pines. All through the summer at Old Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Old       Reservoir. There are plenty of people from Worcester here at Old Reservoir. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Old Reservoir. You don’t have to go far from Old Reservoir to catch a glimpse of the water at Barre Reservoir Dam, and a good close by hotel is Super 8 Gardner. Old Reservoir gets lots of water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
