Not far from Old Quincy Reservoir you get some wonderful water scenery at Old Quincy Reservoir Dam, and what would winter be without some skiing at Blue Hills. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Cochato River; for you golfers we recommend nearby Braintree Municipal Golf Course. | | you're in a beach type of mood, and dry warm beds await you at Boston Marriott Quincy. On a pretty day you obtain a view of Babel Rock from Old Quincy Reservoir, and you can hit the beach if you want, Nickerson Beach is practically right here. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do close to Old Quincy Reservoir. A lake nearby is Sunset Lake, and Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are perfect to stop at nearby. | |

This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Prospect Lake Park is a great site to do that, and if you need a location to stay Sheraton Braintree Hotel is a great choice. Throughout the months of summer at Old Quincy Reservoir highs
are regularly in the 80's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, usually in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Old Quincy Reservoir tend to be in the 20's.
Old Quincy Reservoir sits in the shade of the Blue Hill Range; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cohasset Tidal Rip. People from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy love to come to
Old Quincy Reservoir, and take a look at nearby Arnold Meadow. Whitewater paddling is great on Charles River; camping at Norwell Campsites is always a fine experience. Old Quincy Reservoir gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall;
of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Old Quincy Reservoir is not the only place close by, Ames Pond is a close by lake; lovely scenery and perfect skiing is what you acquire at Bradford.
