If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Scorton Harbor, and East Sandwich Beach is reasonably close by if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop by a swamp like Scorton Creek Marshes if you're here at Nye Pond, and there are plenty of people from Barnstable Town here at Nye Pond. Belfry Inn is a glorious location to get some rest; why       not go to Plowed Neck also since you're here. If you haven’t been to Cape Cod National Seashore, you must schedule some time for it if you're here. Summertime at Nye Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Nye Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. There's some flowing water nearby, Long Creek is a stream you can                  explore while here; dry warm beds await you at La Plaza Del Sol. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Nye Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Peters Pond Park is a nice site for that, obviously you could also visit Lawrence Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. Yeah, come here to Nye Pond for a wonderful time. A lake close by is Hoxie Pond, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Sandwich Hollows Golf Club. All the water falling down from the sky makes Nye Pond a wet place; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July.
