Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a wonderful national park, and there's great hiking along the Border Trail. Not far from Number Two Reservoir, you'll stumble on Wells Pond which is a pretty lake, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites Colonial is a perfect site to spend a night or two. All through the summertime months here at Number Two Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's while overnight lows are

| | commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Number Two Reservoir temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dennison Hill is clearly visible from Number Two Reservoir, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Number Two Reservoir; Munyan Trail is a good local trail. Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park while you're here at Number Two Reservoir, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Natchaug River. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at
Woodstock Town Beach, and camping is available at Manna Campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Number One Reservoir; Passport Inn - Sturbridge is a delightful spot to get some rest.
Number Two Reservoir is a wet site that gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. Near Number Two Reservoir you discover a golf course
called Royal Oaks Country Club, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Cohasse Brook. This lake is so wonderful. The Walkabout Trail offers hiking at its best; tremendous water scenery is available at Cohasse Country Club
Dam close to Number Two Reservoir. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Pine Ridge; at Number Two Reservoir you always meet someone from Willimantic. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Quaboag River.
