One of the principal characteristics of the surroundings of Nottingham Lake is Cherry Hill, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Farmington River - West Branch. So many amusing things to do at Nottingham Lake, so little time. Nottingham Lake is not far at all from Pittsfield, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Spring Trail. | | trail close to Nottingham Lake, and if you get bored of Nottingham Lake you could also take a look at close by Excalibur Lake. Nottingham Lake is a rather wet place commonly with a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during August; January meanwhile is the driest month. Lake you acquire some tremendous water scenery at Robin Hood Lake Dam; Little Robin Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Dry warm beds await you at Pilgrim Inn, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by
Otis Ridge. For the period of the summertime highs here at Nottingham Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here
at Nottingham Lake. There's whitewater on Westfield River - West Branch for all you thrill seekers, and Super 8 Lee/Berkshires/Outlet Area is a good spot to get some rest. Blandford has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and
if you came to camp Bonny Rigg Camping Club is a tremendous place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Nottingham Lake called the County Road Trail; Nottingham Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain View Campground is a great local campground.
