The friendly people of Providence-New Bedford-Fall River like to hang out nearby, and there's always Norton Reservoir Dam to stop at right next door to Norton Reservoir. During the summer highs here at Norton Reservoir get into the 80's with nighttime       lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Norton Reservoir temperatures dip to the 10's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Norton Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Canoe River Campground, and naturally, all our national parks are brilliant spots to pop by and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception. Norton Reservoir gets lots of water; November is when                  you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. A great close by hotel is Red Roof Inn Boston (Mansfield/Foxboro), and why not head up to Blue Hills and strap some skis to your feet. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Norton Reservoir.
