If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Norton Reservoir. The high level of rainfall makes Norton Reservoir a pretty wet place; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is July. Norton Reservoir is a location with many visitors from Providence-New Bedford-Fall River, and Norton Reservoir is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Canoe River Campground is a fine place to camp nearby.

Norton Reservoir Dam to stop at near Norton Reservoir. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Norton Reservoir has it all. Kingman Pond is a fine lake in the neighborhood of Norton Reservoir, and there are
some good whitewater spots on Charles River. Stay the night at Canoe River Campground; if you need a place to stay Red Roof Inn Boston (Mansfield/Foxboro) is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Willowdale Golf Course; the skiing at Blue Hills is tremendous.

You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend... |
