Paddling on Ashuelot River is so much fun; Northfield Mountain Reservoir Dam has delightful water scenery. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Northfield Mountain Reservoir. A nice spot to camp here at Northfield Mountain Reservoir is Barton Cove Campground; Horse Race is a delightful beach to check out. Here at Northfield Mountain Reservoir       you'll most likely meet some people from Springfield, and a good view of beautiful Beers Mountain is available. After a long day outdoors The Greenfield Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and there are great sites to look at along the Sunrise Trail. Playing golf is lots of fun at Northfield Golf Club, and soar down the rapids of Millers River - Lower in a kayak. For the period of the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Northfield                  Mountain Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's; nighttime lows at Northfield Mountain Reservoir during the wintertime commonly plunge into the 0's. Northfield Mountain Reservoir is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Spruce Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp next to Northfield Mountain Reservoir, and a quick journey to Briggs Brook is undeniably a magnificent idea. Camping is available at Wagon wheel Camping Area, and you can hit the slopes at Living Memorial Park nearby. This lake is so wonderful. University Lodge is a great place to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Sunset Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Northfield Mountain Reservoir.
