This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you need a place to stay University Lodge is a magnificent choice, and Federated Womens Club State Forest is worth a visit. North Spectacle Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Wagon wheel Camping Area is a great local campground; a fine close by hotel is THE LORD JEFFERY INN. The warmest time of the year at North Spectacle       Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at North Spectacle Pond. A swamp like Blackington Swamp in the vicinity of North Spectacle Pond has lots of exciting things to see; if you come at the right time of year, Millers River offers some wonderful whitewater. North Spectacle Pond sees pretty high                  levels of rainfall; throughout May this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. A pretty lake like Bassett Pond in the neighborhood of North Spectacle Pond is a great place to have a look at, and hey, Bow Brook is a delightful local stream. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
