Very pleasant water scenery is available at Shelburne Falls Fire District Dam next to North River Reservoir. There's so much to do here at North River Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Springbrook Family Camping Area is a magnificent place for that. All the water falling down from the sky makes North River Reservoir a wet location; November is the month that                  gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on North River, and if you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn Suites Greenfield is a good choice. Any time is a splendid time at North River Reservoir if you love the outdoors. If you want to hit the beach, Greenfield Beach is close by, and the skiing at Haystack is brilliant. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Greenfield; North River Reservoir is right by the Mount Olga Trail. This lake is so wonderful. North River Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Moss Hollow Campground is a delightful local campground; as expected, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Shelburne Falls Fire District Reservoir is a lake close at hand. Aunt Sophies Peak can be seen from North River Reservoir. Lakes are splendid; McLeod Pond is a lake that's near North River Reservoir. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at North River Reservoir. Going for a hike along the Sunset Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and the landscape is dominated by the Catamount Hills.
