Yeah, come here to North Pond for a brilliant time. Why not camp at Golden Acres Campground if you're here at North Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Farmington River. North Pond gets a lot of water; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful.       Blandford is a very popular ski area around here, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford. Going for a hike on the Link Trail is always a good adventure, and from North Pond you get a splendid sight of Huckleberry Mountain. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at North Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures                  all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to North Pond. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. You have to absolutely stop at charming Babbs Beach if you're here at North Pond; don't leave North Pond without first going for a hike along the Richard Trail. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Sundown, and do stop at Congamond Lakes North Dike if you're here. Go for a hike on the County Road Trail; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WESTFIELD is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. This place, North Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors cool stuff. While you're here at North Pond you ought to have a look at Conn Cove; swing by Johnson Brook it's a tremendous spot to go to. Middle Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and a tremendous site to camp here at North Pond is Sodom Mountain Campground.
