Sure, Scudder Bay is nearby; Centerville Harbor is very near and is a great place to pop by. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Coleman Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Hyannis. Near North Pond you find Dead Neck Rock which is a fine location to stop at; on a delightful day you can pop by Craigville Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Bumps River, and you can stay the night at Otis       Trailer Village John's Pond Campgro. Swamps don’t sound that good but Craigville Marshes near North Pond is quite good, and North Pond is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Yarmouth Campgrounds is a brilliant spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at North Pond you can play some golf at Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course, and a day at picturesque Long Beach near North Pond is a brilliant thing to do. High temperatures                  at North Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at North Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. All our national parks are great places to pop by, and Cape Cod National Seashore is no exception. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; North Pond has it all. At North Pond you always meet someone from Barnstable Town, and Cape Winds Resort (Vri) is a tremendous place to get some rest.
