This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Peat Hole, and swamps like George Easton Swamps are fun to pop by. North Head Long Pond is a wet location that gets a lot of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest.       This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are perfect; and Cisco Beach close to North Head Long Pond is no exception, and a great nearby hotel is The Beachside at Nantucket. The Woods is a great local forest, and after a long day outdoors Roberts House Inn is a fine spot to spend a night or two.
