A visit to New Pond is always a good idea. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Not far from New Pond you get some good water scenery at New Pond Dam; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Taunton, Ma is a splendid place to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes New Pond a wet site; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at New Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's with night lows
in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at New Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a trip to Boston Harbor Islands National
Recreation Area since you're here at New Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything New Pond has to offer, you can camp at Canoe River Campground.
