Go for a hike on the Spring Trail. Nashawannuck Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Nashawannuck Pond. Why not visit close by Bassett Brook if       you're here at Nashawannuck Pond, and get wet paddling on Connecticut River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Clarion Hotel & Conference Center is a wonderful choice; Nashawannuck Pond is a spot with many visitors from Springfield. Do check out Manhan River Reservoir next to Nashawannuck Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and there's pleasant hiking along the Richard Trail. During the summertime months highs here at Nashawannuck Pond reach                  the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Nashawannuck Pond tend to be in the 0's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Nashawannuck Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Westfield River - North Branch, and Blandford is a delightful local ski area. Deadtop can be made out from Nashawannuck Pond, and an interesting thing to explore next to Nashawannuck Pond is Nashawannuck Pond Dam.
