Stonewall Pond is a great lake near Nashaquitsa Pond, and a short tour to Cooks Springs is always worthwhile. All the water falling down from the sky makes Nashaquitsa Pond a wet location; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
