Muddy Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Wachusett Mountain is wonderful, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Wapack Trail. A large amount of precipitation falls at Muddy Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Summertime at Muddy Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the

| | 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and night lows all through the winter for Muddy Pond tend to be in the 0's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Muddy Pond has to offer, you can camp at Howe's Camping; Bean Porridge Hill is a peak you can observe from Muddy Pond. location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You could also have a look at Jeffs Pond while you're here at Muddy Pond; it's nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Souhegan
River. There's whitewater on Stony Brook for all you thrill seekers, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Mitchell Hill Road. Pine Ridge is a glorious local ski area, and the smiling folks of Worcester
like to hang out close by. Don't forget to take a fine little spree to Brown Brook, and Factory Village Pond Dam is not far at all from Muddy Pond. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great earth it would
be. If you're a golfer then a perfect nearby course is Woods of Westminster Golf Course, and if you've had enough of Muddy Pond, Factory Village Pond is nearby.
