Factory Village Pond is a great lake right next door to Muddy Pond, and Wachusett Mountain is a pleasant local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Howe's Camping is always a pleasant experience; if you need a site to stay Rodeway Inn Westminster is a good choice. Muddy Pond is a pretty wet place commonly with lots of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | For the duration of the months of summer here at Muddy Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows at Muddy Pond during the winter commonly drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Pond you obtain a pleasant sight of Bean Porridge Hill. The slopes of Pine Ridge are so inviting nobody can resist, and after a long day outdoors Wachusett Village Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two. There are other
sites here than Muddy Pond, for example Jeffs Pond, and you'll meet a lot of people from Worcester here. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Muddy Pond. If the weather is nice here at
Muddy Pond, you can go for a hike along the Wapack Trail; drift down the rapids of Stony Brook in a kayak. Why not pop by Factory Village Pond Dam while you're here, and the Mitchell Hill Road is a magnificent hiking trail nearby.
Brown Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and paddling on Souhegan River is so much fun. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Muddy Pond called the Parker Trail; for you golfers we recommend close by Woods of Westminster Golf Course.
