Camping at Rusnik Campground is always a tremendous experience, and why not a little side trip to Idlewild Brook. But wait, there's more to do close to Muddy Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course near Muddy Pond is Wenham Country Club, and Muddy Pond is splendid enough to spend more than       a day at, Pines Camping Area is a splendid local campground. Summer at Muddy Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Muddy Pond. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Bunker Meadows is right nearby, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Danvers-Boston Salem is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. This lake                  is so wonderful. Here at Muddy Pond there are plenty of folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, and a nice nearby hotel is Courtyard Boston Danvers. Hit the slopes at Blue Hills in the neighborhood; the summit of Bradstreet Hill can be seen from Muddy Pond. During your stay at Muddy Pond do take a look at close by Dane Street Beach. Lakes are magnificent; Cedar Pond is a lake that's right next door to Muddy Pond. Muddy Pond is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here while August is commonly the driest month. This place, Muddy Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff.
