You'll need more than a day to discover everything Muddy Pond has to offer, you can camp at Dunroamin' Trailer Park. For the period of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Muddy Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Muddy Pond tend to be in the 10's.       A lake close by is Pattys Pond; you're sure to run into some wonderful folks from Barnstable Town here. If you adore the outdoors, you'll fancy Muddy Pond. After a long day outdoors The Santuit Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and a day at Oyster Harbors Beach is time well spent. La Plaza Del Sol is a fine place to get some rest; a trip to Cape Cod National Seashore is worthwhile. Don't forget to stop at Briants Neck if you're here at Muddy                  Pond, and golf can be played at Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Muddy Pond is not the only place close by, Long Pond is a close by lake; you can stay the night at Otis Trailer Village John's Pond Campgro. The high level of rainfall makes Muddy Pond a rather wet site; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July.
