Mud Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You can run the rapids of Clear and Branch close to Mud Pond; Sewall Hill is painless to spot from Mud Pond. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Do stop by City Farm Pond next to Mud Pond, it's a delightful lake, and Newton Pond Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Time spent at Point Rok Beach next to Mud Pond is always delightful; the skiing at Wachusett Mountain is tremendous.

| | Coal Mine Brook is a stunning stream that is worth taking a look at, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Ross Trail. Camping at Sutton Falls Camping Area is always a great experience, and if you have time, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth checking out. Worcester here. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Assabet River; you'll find a pretty lake called Newton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Pond you can play some golf at MT Pleasant
Country Club; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a nice location to spend a night or two. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Mud Pond. If you need a location to stay Residence Inn by Marriott
Boston Worcester is a magnificent choice, and the Walkabout Trail is a good hiking trail close by. On a great day at Mud Pond you can take a hike along the Munyan Trail; if you like swamps you're in luck, Slocum Meadow is right
nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A large amount of rainfall falls at Mud Pond; November is the wettest month with most rain, and September is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Mud
Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mud Pond drop into the 10's.
