Massachusetts has many beautiful lakes and Mud Pond is one of them. Take a hike on the Turner Trail, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mud Pond, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows at Mud Pond throughout the winter commonly descend into the 10's. This lake

| | is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Konkapot Brook; you can stay the night at Bissellville Campground.
If you're a golfer then a good close by course is Greenock Country Club, and if you've had enough of Mud Pond, Belmont Reservoir is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Pittsfield Travelodge; skiing at Catamount is one of those things you just should do. Any time is a delightful time at Mud Pond if you adore the outdoors.

You could also explore Ashley Lake since you're here at Mud Pond; it's nearby; get wet paddling on Westfield River - West Branch. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mud Pond a wet place; the month of June is the wettest
with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Bousquet, and there's a forest here called October Mountain State Forest.
This spot rocks, just explore all the
exciting stuff to do close to Mud Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wild Cat Trail, and Lee Super 8 Motel is a great spot to get some rest. There are plenty of people from Pittsfield here at Mud Pond, and Maple Glade Campground is a good campground nearby.
