If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Mud Pond. For the period of the summer here at Mud Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows through the winter for Mud Pond tend to be in the 10's. The Cobble can be spotted from Mud Pond, and Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites is a fine campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Pontoosuc Lake Country Club, and getting to Jacoby Brook from Mud Pond is uncomplicated. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Richmond Pond is close by, and hiking along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail is perfect fun. Just can't get enough of Mud Pond. Bousquet
is a good local ski area, and you can stay the night at Maple Glade Campground. Heart of the Berkshires Motel is a perfect site to get some rest, and if you're here, you might as well explore Pleasant Valley.
After a long day
outdoors Ramada Limited Inn & Suites Pittsfield is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and everyone close by loves skiing at Catamount. Mud Pond ordinarily gets a good deal of precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
