Mountain Park Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.                  This lake is so wonderful. Take a side visit to Brickyard Brook, and Hockanum Meadows is a delightful place any time of year. The Mount Tom Range here at Mountain Park Reservoir makes the scenery here great; skiing at Blandford is one of those things you just should do. This location is peerless, just check out all the amusing stuff to do close to Mountain Park Reservoir. A good place to camp here at Mountain Park Reservoir is Rainbow Motel; why not take a refreshing hike along the Richard Trail. If you're visiting Mountain Park Reservoir from Springfield, you won't be the only one, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Berkshire East. This lake is so wonderful. A day at Sandy Beach in close proximity to Mountain Park Reservoir is time well spent, and drift down the rapids of Little River in a kayak. Super 8 Motel - Holyoke/Springfield Area is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and Cedar Knob is easy to spot from Mountain Park Reservoir.
