    The beauty of Mountain Park Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. This location is peerless, just check out all the fun things to do in the neighborhood of Mountain Park Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Link Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River. Sandy Beach is a beach near Mountain Park Reservoir that you can check out, and the snow is great at Berkshire East.  
   There are plenty of people from Springfield here at Mountain Park Reservoir; a delightful site to camp here at Mountain Park Reservoir is Windy Acres Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Park Reservoir lays in the shadow of the Mount Tom Range; why not camp at Rainbow Motel since you're here at Mountain Park Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Knob is stunning and can be made out from Mountain Park Reservoir. Head up to Blandford and strap
 
               some skis to your feet; going for a hike on the Spring Trail is always a perfect adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Orchards Golf Course Superintendant is close by, and pleasant water scenery is available at Whiting Street Pond Dam near Mountain Park Reservoir. So many cool things to do at Mountain Park Reservoir, so little time. Brickyard Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out; Super 8 Motel - Holyoke/Springfield Area is a nice site to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Mountain Park Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Mountain Park Reservoir tend to be in the 0's.
After a long day outdoors Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Holyoke is a perfect place to spend a night or two, as expected you could also take a look at Mount Tom Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. Connecticut River is a fine whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Mountain Park Reservoir, and Hockanum Meadows is a good site. Good hiking is available along the Richard Trail; if you've had enough of Mountain Park Reservoir, Whiting Street Reservoir is nearby.
Mountain Park Reservoir is a relatively wet place generally with a great deal of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is typically the driest month.

There used to be a lot of fish - but now only bluegills -Millfoil is one of invasive weeds in pond. Pond over years has a lot of garbage thrown in it-used to swim there- would not dare now especially where beach used to be....
