at Mountain Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Mountain Lake dipping down
into the 0's through winter nights. South Hadley Falls is a wonderful place to stop by while you're at Mountain Lake, and a delightful close by hotel is The Economy Inn. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Farmington River; everybody
loves South Plains. Mountain Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. A fine swamp next to Mountain Lake is Slabbery Pond, and Mountain Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Windy Acres Campground
is a great local campground. Good hiking is available along the Richard Trail; get dripping wet paddling on Connecticut River.
