If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Mount Williams Reservoir. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff near Mount Williams Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Overlook Trail is always a magnificent adventure; paddling on Dunbar Brook is so much fun. Howard Johnson Williamstown is a great location to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Green River. What a place this is for outdoors people. One

fun to check out; after a long day outdoors Orchards Hotel is a great place to spend a night or two. Take a little visit to Notch Brook since you're here at Mount Williams Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Mount Williams
Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Merck Forest Foundation is a good place for that. Go for a hike on the Hopper Trail; a wooded area nearby is Clarksburg State Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Near Mount Williams
Reservoir you hit upon the Thunderbolt Ski Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; you can stay the night at Clarksburg State Park. Through the warm months highs here at Mount Williams Reservoir reach the 70's. Summer overnight
lows fall down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mount Williams Reservoir. Mount Williams Reservoir gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; through August this
area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Bennington here; an out of the ordinary thing to visit near Mount Williams Reservoir is Mount Williams Reservoir Dam.
