     You could also pop by Mountain Park Reservoir since you're here at Mount Tom Reservoir; it's close by; if you came for an overnight stay Rainbow Motel is a good place to camp. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lower Millpond is close to Mount Tom Reservoir, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deerfield River. At Mount Tom Reservoir throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures  
   are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Mount Tom Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Richard Trail, and pop by close by Neds Ditch.
Getting to Brickyard Brook from Mount Tom Reservoir is simple, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Pine Grove Golf Club is around here. You can never get enough of the nice skiing at Blandford; Clarion
 
               Hotel & Conference Center is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Tom Reservoir is right by the Link Trail, and Connecticut River is a nice whitewater spot close by.
A range like the Mount Tom Range here at Mount Tom Reservoir is always delightful, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites Northampton is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little journey to Lower Millpond Dam while you're here at Mount Tom Reservoir, and Hockanum Meadows is a great place to check out. Much rain falls at Mount Tom Reservoir; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest.
Why not camp at Windy Acres Campground since you're here at Mount Tom Reservoir, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Springfield here. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Mount Tom Reservoir has it all. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Berkshire East; here at Mount Tom Reservoir you can catch a sight of Cedar Knob.
This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Spring Trail, and Sandy Beach is a beautiful beach to stop by.

My Mother was born in Easthampton-Wanat house near pond-Williston Ave. I am a former member of citizens restoring Congamond. There used to be a lot of fish - but now only bluegills -Millfoil is one of invasive weeds in pond. Pond over years has a lot of garbage thrown in it-used to swim there- would not dare now especially where beach used to be....

The Holyoke Dam is between the put-in and take-out.  The dam is roughly halfway between the two bridges and it cannot be paddled....

This pond is known by everyone as Puffer's pond and I've never heard it called this before. In the summer there are a lot of swimmers, but it makes good early morning fishing....

The Springfield Paddle Club is a private swimming club with a beach on Bass Club.  The entrance is from South Branch Parkway.  We have a lovely beach and a floating dock about 20 yards from shore.  Consider joining us for wonderful swimming all summer long....
