Sure, South Meadow Pond is close at hand; Days Inn Shrewsbury - Worcester is a tremendous site to get some rest. An afternoon playing golf at Twin Spring Golf Course is always a pleasure; everyone nearby loves skiing at Wachusett Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. You get a good panorama of Burdett Hill from Mossy Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Assabet River offers some brilliant whitewater. Mossy Pond is a quite wet place frequently with       a great deal of rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain while September is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Mass Health & Fitness is a tremendous spot to camp; folks from Worcester love to come here. Throughout the long summer days at Mossy Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter                  are normally in the 30's while Mossy Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. There are other places here than Mossy Pond, for example Coachlace Pond, and a spree to Carville Basin is always a tremendous idea. The Mitchell Hill Road offers hiking at its best. A great beach in close proximity to Mossy Pond is Sterling Town Beach; needless to say Goodridge Brook flows through this region. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the neighborhood of Mossy Pond.
