If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Morris Pond. Morris Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is July. You might want to pay a visit to The Twins if you're here at Morris Pond, and if you need a location to stay The Inn At Scituate Harbor is a great choice. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Morris Pond.
There's so much to do here at Morris Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Norwell Campsites is a wonderful spot for that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Treat Pond. If you
came to camp Robins Pond Camp Ground is a great place to do that, and splendid water scenery is available at Briggs Harbor in the neighborhood of Morris Pond. Lakes? Sure, Lily Pond is around here, and nothing beats kicking back at
Sandy Beach. Bryant Point is close to Morris Pond and is a glorious location to pop by, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Cohasset Tidal Rip.

Widgeon Pond
 | 18 miles away I was interested in a rental on Widgeon Pond. I stayed there many years ago and loved it....I have a cottage on Widgeon Pond. Nice, quiet and relaxing pond with reasonable fishing. Swimming is nice but sometimes the water is really high, almost to the extent where there is no beach at all. Some people have small parties or gatherings, but there aren't any loud parties. Very calming place to chill out.... |
