Beautiful Morewood Lake has much to offer visitors. Bousquet is a fine local ski area, and East Branch Housatonic River is right next door to Morewood Lake and is always a diversion to go to. If the weather is great here at Morewood Lake, you can go for a hike along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and there are plenty of people from Pittsfield here at Morewood Lake. Pontoosuc Lake Country Club is a tremendous golf course nearby, and Berkshire Inn is a good spot

This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites, and if you need a site to
stay The Yankee Suites Extended Stay is a brilliant choice. This place, Morewood Lake, it just has so much outdoors fun stuff. Get soaked paddling on Green River. The skiing at Catamount is pleasant; since you're here you can take
a hike along the Turner Trail.
At Morewood Lake all through the summer highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at
Morewood Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. The high level of rain makes Morewood Lake a relatively wet site; most of the rain falls during June while February is ordinarily the driest month.
