Looking for some flowing water? Try East Branch Housatonic River, and the slopes of Catamount are so inviting nobody can resist. Going for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain Trail is always a perfect adventure; The Yankee Suites Extended Stay is a splendid location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Berkshire Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and a journey to nearby Rice School is very relaxing. All the water falling

| | down from the sky makes Morewood Lake a wet place; most of the rain falls during June; the driest month is February. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Morewood Lake, so little time. Morewood Lake is a location with many visitors from Pittsfield, and there are other places here than Morewood Lake, for example West Branch Housatonic River Reservoir. is a tremendous spot for that. Lakes? Sure, Silver Lake is in the neighborhood. Konkapot Brook is a brilliant whitewater spot right next door to Morewood Lake; what would winter be without some skiing at Bousquet. High temperatures
at Morewood Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Morewood Lake tend to
be in the 10's. Go for a hike on the Taconic Skyline Trail, and the view of Hubbard School is scenic. This lake is so wonderful. Near Morewood Lake you come across the Turner Trail which is a great hiking trail; golf can be played
at Pontoosuc Lake Country Club. This location rules, just explore all the cool things to do near Morewood Lake. Morewood Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Maple Glade Campground is a splendid local campground; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River.

Alps Family Campground

I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it.
