After a long day outdoors Super 8 Keene is a great place to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Sunrise Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest       time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Moores Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Moores Pond. Very perfect water scenery is available at Moorse Pond Dam in the vicinity of Moores Pond, and get wet paddling on Ashuelot River. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Moores Pond, too nice to be true. The snow is glorious at Living Memorial Park, and hiking along the Sunset Trail is brilliant fun.
