local campground, and paddling on Ashuelot River is so much fun. But wait, there's more to do next to Moores Pond. Drift down the rapids of Millers River in a kayak, and Northfield Golf Club is a delightful golf course nearby.
If you came for an overnight stay Wagonwheel Campground is a wonderful spot to camp, and Darling Brook is next to Moores Pond and is always a diversion to check out. All the water falling down from the sky makes Moores Pond a wet
location; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. You can see Barber Hill from Moores Pond; the Sunset Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.
