Monte Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Charles River, and Stonehouse Hill can be seen from Monte Pond. Monte Pond Dam is a beautiful spot close to Monte Pond, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Ames Pond is just a very short distance away. Monte Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is June.

This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Cedar Hill Golf Course. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Monte Pond. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby
Blue Hills; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Canoe River Campground is a wonderful site to camp, and if you're looking for a pleasant tour, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is pretty near.
