Montague Power Canal Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Deerfield River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by; what would winter be without some skiing at Living Memorial Park. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. An interesting thing to stop by near Montague Power Canal Reservoir is Cabot Station Power Plant Dam, and a day at Greenfield Beach is time well spent. This lake is so wonderful. There

Power Canal Reservoir is right by the Sunset Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Montague Power Canal Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Mohawk Park. Greenfield Super 8 Motel is a wonderful location to get
some rest, and as expected Deerfield River flows through this area.
If you like swamps, you're in luck, White Ash Swamp is right close by; one of the best things about this place is its proximity to Horse Race. Take a hike on
the Sunrise Trail, and you can stay the night at Barton Cove. Meadows Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to Montague Power Canal Reservoir; if you need a location to stay The Greenfield Inn is a tremendous choice.
Throughout the warm months at Montague Power Canal Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and throughout the dark
