Glendale Dam is wonderful and it's in the vicinity of Mohawk Lake; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bousquet. Get dripping wet paddling on Konkapot Brook, and a delightful site to camp here at Mohawk Lake is Camp Half Moon. After a long day outdoors Stockbridge Country Inn is a good site to spend a night or two, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Pittsfield. This lake is so wonderful. are in the 10's. While you're here at Mohawk Lake you can take a hike along the Taconic Skyline Trail, and it's a pleasant idea to pop by Larrywaug Brook. Having a good time at Mohawk Lake is uncomplicated. If you want to play
some golf, you're in luck because Cranwell Resort & Golf Club is in the neighborhood, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Wild Cat Trail. Lakes are such calm places, why not visit Housatonic River Reservoir close
to Mohawk Lake. Really fine skiing awaits you at Ski Butternut, and Mohawk Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Woodland Hills Campground is a perfect local campground. A typical amount of precipitation falls here
