A visit to Mishawum Lake is always a good idea. Meadow Brook Golf Club is a golf course close to Mishawum Lake; you can hit the slopes at Blue Hills in the neighborhood. Mishawum Lake gets a great deal of water; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and August is the month with the least moisture. The fine people of Boston-Cambridge-Quincy like to hang out nearby, and if you need a location to stay Courtyard By Marriott Woburn is

| | a tremendous choice. Be careful coming to Mishawum Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mishawum Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lorraine Park Campground, and hey, Halls Brook is a pleasant local stream. You could also visit Aberjona Pond if you're here at Mishawum Lake; it's nearby, and if you have the time, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a national park worth taking a look | |

at. All through the warm months highs here at Mishawum Lake get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mishawum
Lake are in the 10's. Here at Mishawum Lake you can distinguish Blueberry Mountain; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Silver Lake Town Beach. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Burbank Pond. There's so
much to do here at Mishawum Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Cedar is a good place for that. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Concord River, and
a good close by hotel is Fairfield Inn By Marriott Boston Woburn. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mishawum Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Charles River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Bradford has great slopes and a friendly staff.
