This lake is so wonderful. Mill River Dam has perfect water scenery and it's near Mill River Reservoir, and camping at Rainbow Motel is always a great experience. Through the warmest time of the year at Mill River Reservoir highs are frequently in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down
 
               to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mill River Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's. After a long day outdoors Autumn Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two; an afternoon playing golf at Pine Grove Golf Club is always a pleasure.
Looking for something in the vicinity of Mill River Reservoir? Rocky Hill Pond is in the vicinity, and the Richard Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. A pleasant trip to Pynchon Meadows is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon, and you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Berkshire East. Mill River Reservoir is a wet site that gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
If the weather is splendid here at Mill River Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Link Trail, and folks from Springfield love to come here. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Mill River Reservoir. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Deerfield River; skiing at Blandford is one of those things you just must do. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Neds Ditch is right nearby.
