     While you're here at Mill River Reservoir you can take a hike along the Link Trail; a great location to camp here at Mill River Reservoir is Windy Acres Campground. Be careful coming to Mill River Reservoir, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's whitewater on Deerfield River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Springfield. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close  
   by Berkshire East; Mill River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore. Why not camp at Rainbow Motel since you're here at Mill River Reservoir, and there's some interesting stuff to make out at Vistron Dam near Mill River Reservoir.
Mill River Reservoir is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. There are some wonderful whitewater spots
 
               on Connecticut River, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Richard Trail. The Hotel Northampton is a delightful spot to get some rest.
Some close by water includes Parsons Brook, and Blandford is a very popular ski area close at hand. High temperatures at Mill River Reservoir through the warm days of summer are in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mill River Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. At Mill River Reservoir you can see Baker Hill, and if you're here, you could also explore pretty Florence Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. On a wonderful day you can check out Sandy Beach in the neighborhood of Mill River Reservoir, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Spring Trail. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Mill River Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Autumn Inn is a glorious choice; an afternoon playing golf at Pine Grove Golf Club is always a bliss.

There used to be a lot of fish - but now only bluegills -Millfoil is one of invasive weeds in pond. Pond over years has a lot of garbage thrown in it-used to swim there- would not dare now especially where beach used to be....
