During your stay at Mill River Reservoir do stop at close by Sandy Beach, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Connecticut River. Head up to Blandford and strap some skis to your feet, and if you need a spot to stay Autumn Inn       is a pleasant choice. For the duration of the long summer days at Mill River Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. If you come at the right time of year, Deerfield River offers some splendid whitewater; if you're here, you could also have a look at wonderful Florence Pond.
